Quest Children's Services offers a wide range of both community & in-house recreational activities.
The residence sits on 42 acres of forests & fields with a trout creek running through the back of the property, where
the residents enjoy wide games, hiking, fishing & exploring. The residence also boasts a large sport court, set up for
hockey, basketball, skateboarding etc., as well as a swimming pool where the residents receive Red Cross Swimming Instruction
& is a great place to escape the summer heat. The residence itself is over 6000 sq. ft. with a large family room where
the residents have use of 2 internet enabled computers as well as satellite tv & a large range of video & board
games. The basement houses a weight room with sauna as well as an air hockey table & table soccer. Each resident is encouraged
to participate in a community based recreational activity, choosing from an extensive list, such as ice hockey, soccer, curling,
baseball, cadets , Scouting etc. The program's educational support worker doubles as the recreation co-ordinator during school
breaks, planning major recreational outings - summer, Christmas & spring break vacations with destinations such as Wasaga
Beach, Niagara Falls, Darien Lake, Wonderland, Snow Valley etc., as well as local activities such as organized ball hockey,
baseball games, our annual Ice Hockey Party, Halloween Party & Community BBQ's. The residents are encouraged to invite
friends & family to many of these activities. As well the residents have attended summer camps, hockey schools & sports
related tournaments & competitions.
